Bunding all oil storage is now a legal requirement. The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001 became law on 1st March 2002 and affects everyone storing over 200 litres of oil. (You should have complied by 1st Sept. 2005 to stay legal.) The Water Environment (Oil Storage) (Scotland) Regulations 2006 are also in effect and any remaining installations must comply by 1st April 2010. Don't risk prosecution. Install a bunded tank!
